My business model for Professional Development Group, LLC was inspired by the growing need in our industry for networking, a sense of community, a resource for information, continued education, consulting and mentoring. The goal is to continue to collaborate with leading brands and offer professional development strategies to estheticians, electrologists, laser treatment technicians, medical estheticians, spa/salon owners and also provide information for those that are interested in entering our diverse industry. Services are offered in a unique model, virtually (nationwide), to suit the busy life and career of any individual.

With over 30 years of experience in aesthetics, medical aesthetics, laser technologies, and electrology, Vickey is a seasoned educator, entrepreneur, and champion of industry
excellence. A CIDESCO Diplomate with multiple post graduate certifications and Florida State Licenses, she combines technical mastery with instructional expertise and visionary leadership. Vickey proudly serves as the President of the Electrolysis Society of Florida, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing professional standards and supporting continuing education. Now in her second term, she works closely with board members to organize and deliver state-required CE courses—ensuring Florida practitioners remain informed, compliant, and connected. As Co-Owner of Skin Care Academy Inc. in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada, Vickey played a foundational role in shaping a new generation of aesthetics professionals from 1999 to 2011. She developed accredited and advanced training programs in Beauty Therapy, Electrolysis, Spa Management, and Medical Aesthetics, while also integrating niche wellness techniques. Her responsibilities spanned curriculum design, academic delivery, school accreditation, staffing, and full-scale operations—from clinic supervision to branding, marketing, and strategic growth. |

Vickey’s teaching legacy includes professorships at Skin Care Academy Inc., Seneca College in Toronto, Canada and a Florida-based college. She has also served as an expert trainer for several industry-leading companies, educating spa professionals and academic faculty on the practical use of advanced modalities—including various laser systems, electrolysis technologies, and medical aesthetic devices.
